Depart for Tarangire National Park with packed lunch, approximately 4.5 hour drive from Moshi/2 hours from Arusha to Tarangire gate. Upon arrival you will be introduced to an armed ranger who will take you on the walking safari for 1.5-2 hours. This walk enables you to see the nature and wildlife in the park in a completely different way. After your walking safari your guide will take you on game drives to see other parts of this famous National Park well known for its large populations of elephant. Your driver will exit the park in the late afternoon and head to camp for dinner and overnight.
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi town; you will meet your guide who will brief you on your upcoming safari. All the basic information about your safari will be given to you by your safari guide.
This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park, taking approximately 3 hours. Tarangire is sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. Enjoy your afternoon game drive. Overnight Tarangire.
Leave the lodge after breakfast heading out through the Maasai lands to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives in this very diverse park – the main attractions are the tree climbing lions and flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue to explore the different areas of the park till midafternoon; leave the park and head to Lodge.
As early as possible after breakfast with your picnic lunch box, drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with en-route game drive, dinner, and overnight.
Spend full-day game drives at Serengeti National Park in the Central Seronera. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the "Big Five": Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo. Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is home to around 200,000 zebras, and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that join the wildebeests' trek for fresh grazing.
After an early morning breakfast, we will leave for an early morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This is another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The stunning landscape of Ngorongoro with its vast expanses of highland plains and concentration of wildlife of some 25,000 animals makes this place one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth. After lunch, drive back to Arusha where our services end or Airport transfer for your flight back home.
